 I created these images by adding a bunch of layers of pictures and using the filters to blend them.

I made each of these images by creating multiple layers of photos and then using different blending modes. The first image I also used mask layers but not on the second one.

     Humans are continuously changing the world around them. Photoshop is one way we can manipulate the world as we see it. The articles the-impact-of-photoshop-on-society, photoshop-body-image, and how-25-years-of-photoshop-changed-our-perception-of-reality all discuss how photoshop affects how we view reality. I agree with all three that photoshop has great influence over modern society. Many struggle with how they think they should look in the fake/impossible standards of attractiveness in mainstream media. Photoshop doesn't only negatively impact us however. In fields such as forensics, photoshop becomes an invaluable tool to help recreate what a deceased person may have looked like. This advancement in technology has helped many Jane/John Doe's be identified.
